Sick of spam calls and sleazy texters? RoboKiller rocks!
After hearing from so many of you about getting deluged by annoying robocalls, texts and scammers, I signed up to test an app that's been getting great reviews from the likes of WIRED, ABC News, Lifehacker and more.
RoboKiller is a game-changer.
I'm frankly surprised at how well it works. As many of you know, we are not compensated for testing and liking any kind of software or hardware. When we say we like it, we like it because it works.
It takes a bit of time to set it up, and be prepared to give it access to your contact list (something many of us — including me — have usually been hesitant to do, but trust me, it is important for this to deliver the results you want.)
Basically, RoboKiller will filter out callers and texters who are not in your contact list. You can review the list as you would your spam email. You can turn it off if you are getting a call from an installer or service representative, for example, who isn't in your contacts and then switch it back on.
When you set it up, you should opt in for everything so you get all of the benefits of the app's functionality. And you can test it for free for a week first if you like. If you choose to purchase, it's $39.99 a year or $4.99 a month.
If you have a friend or family member that has trouble distinguishing a scam from a real text or call, this is an app they need on their phone. It's getting more and more difficult to tell the difference these days.
If you decide to try it out and need help or just have questions, give She's Wired a call at 404-935-9614.
